If you’re training for the London Marathon, your fitness levels should be soaring by now. You’ll have trained throughout the winter months on your strength and endurance, been following a specific diet and you’re probably looking forward to the 26th April when the event happens.

And we’d like to say congratulations.

It’s a big commitment in terms of time, energy and emotional input but your achievement as you cross the finishing line will feel fantastic.

Who Are You Running For?

You’re probably running to raise money for a charity – which is a great feeling. And you’ll also be stretching yourself to your limits at the same time – and what you find you are capable of could well surprise you.

Your fitness regime is crucial. So are the clothes and particularly the shoes you run in.

How  Do You Look After Yourself Post-Training?

You’ll probably have worked out your own relaxation techniques to wind down after a run and what you should be eating to replenish your energy stores and build the right muscles.

Massages can be useful in easing taut muscles, as can soothing baths and showers after training.

For centuries people have visited the Dead Sea to take advantage of the natural healing powers of the mineral-rich waters. However you don’t have to visit the Dead Sea to get the benefit (and you probably won’t have time now in your training regime in any case!)

Which is why we’d like to suggest that you try out our Genuine Dead Sea Bath Salts. Run a bath and sprinkle in a handful and step in.

The Bath Salts will work their magic, soothing and relaxing taut muscles. And if you prefer to have a shower after training, then you can shower with our Natural Mineral Shower Cream which cleanses the body helping to release toxin build-ups. Oh and we have shampoo and conditioner to match, so you can take care of your hair at the same time.

Finish by moisturising your skin with our Natural Body Lotion and you’ll be ready to go.

You can rest assured that you won’t be blasting your skin and muscles with any artificial chemicals – all our products are 100% natural, contain no parabens and are SLS free. They’re also suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

If you have an existing skin condition, like eczema or psoriasis, you could also find that our products help to ease the symptoms (just read our testimonials page to see what others have said and how they have found their skin improves).

We don’t make big technological claims for our products. They’re not endlessly tested in labs. Instead we let the centuries-old Dead Sea tradition speak for itself. If people have believed in its restorative powers for that amount of time, then maybe you should try out its natural minerals for yourself and see what a different they make to your post marathon training regime.

You’ll find all our products readily available in Boots and you can buy them online.
